About The Team
You’ll be joining the JD.com team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Driving cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and process streamlining through data analysis
- Optimization and standardization of in-station processes such as receiving, sortation, route planning and loading
- Creation of SOPs, workflows and work instructions
- Definition and scoping of system requirements and cooperation with tech teams for system functionalities and design
- Creation of reports measuring performance and quality
- Creation of training material and train the trainer sessions
- Lead root cause analysis (using Lean, 5S or similar tools) to resolve performance gaps in relevant In Station KPIs
- Collaborate with stations' teams to capture challenges and promote process changes
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by training frontline leaders on lean principles
- Create and implement routines and mechanisms to drive improvement in the delivery stations
About You
- Bachelor's degree or higher; 5+ years of experience in the logistics and delivery/distribution industry
- Preferably retail/e-commerce background
- Experience in process optimization, creation of SOPs
- Six Sigma experience is a plus
- Fluent English, which can be used as a working language; German or French proficiency preferred
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, as well as the ability to implement systems
- Strong problem-solving skills, strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel Improvement experience driven by BPMN tools
- The preferred base locations are Oberhausen, Munich, and Berlin; however, applications for other cities in Germany are also welcome
