JD.com is seeking an experienced PR and Communications Manager to strategize and execute our public relations campaigns across our international markets, primarily focusing on the UK, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing JD.com\βs brand image through active PR campaigns, managing online social media platforms, and coordinating with various business units to ensure a cohesive and effective global PR strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global online and offline public relations campaign strategy that aligns with JD.com\βs business goals and brand values.
- Lead and manage PR activities, including media outreach, press releases, PR events, and securing speaking opportunities for executives.
- Oversee the creation of PR content, ensuring consistency, timeliness, and impact across regions and cultures.
- Monitor global media coverage, analyze campaign performance, and provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with marketing, investor relations, and other departments to ensure integrated communications and brand consistency.
- Provide PR guidance and support for product launches, consumer campaigns, corporate initiatives, and partnerships in multiple markets.
- Stay informed of global trends, industry challenges, and opportunities to position JD.com as a thought leader in e-commerce.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in communications, with a proven track record managing PR campaigns in the UK and other European countries, with both agency and in-house experience preferred.
- Experience in social media and digital PR campaigns.
- Experience in the e-commerce, technology, or retail industry is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories for a global audience.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to PR and a keen understanding of the media landscape.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- A deep understanding of cross-cultural communication and the ability to tailor messaging to different markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor\βs degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fields.
- Proficiency in multiple languages such as French, German, Dutch, or Chinese is a plus.
- Experience in crisis management and corporate communication is a plus.
