You will be responsible for full frontend R&D of our cross-border e-commerce platform, including the official website and mobile H5 sites, covering core transaction journeys such as product display, shopping cart, checkout payment, user centre and marketing campaigns. You will lead frontend architecture optimisation, performance improvement and internationalisation adaptation, collaborate with product, design and backend teams to support business iteration across the UK and Europe, and ensure user experience and system stability under multi-language, multi-currency and compliance scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirement reviews, solution design and code development for e-commerce web and H5 platforms, ensuring delivery quality and project progress.
  • Lead frontend performance optimisation, loading speed improvement and multi-device compatibility adaptation to enhance user interactive experience.
  • Build and maintain frontend component libraries and engineering systems, improving team R&D efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve online production issues to ensure high availability of online services and data security.
  • Participate in rapid development and launch of e-commerce marketing campaign pages and themed pages to support business growth targets.
  • Support European localisation needs, including frontend adaptation for multi-language, multi-currency and GDPR compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 2+ years of web frontend development experience, with e-commerce or retail internet project experience preferred.
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and proficiency in mainstream frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
  • Familiar with frontend engineering tools such as Webpack/Vite, and master solutions for frontend performance optimisation and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong logical thinking, troubleshooting skills and awareness of code quality.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, able to collaborate cross-functionally as a working language.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Full-cycle project development experience in cross-border e-commerce, independent stations or brand e-commerce official websites.
  • Familiar with Node.js and SSR/SSG server-side rendering, with practical experience in large-scale site performance optimisation.
  • R&D experience in multi-language, multi-currency and multi-region e-commerce systems.
  • Understanding of core e-commerce business logic including payment, order and fulfilment modules.
  • Experience working with overseas teams or developing international products.
