We are seeking a data driven Demand Planner to join our Procurement Team, based in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing demand forecasts, optimising inventory, and ensuring product availability for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to help shape supply planning strategies in a fast-growing and dynamic e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with category managers, suppliers, and vendors to manage demand forecasts, stock levels, budgets, and lead times across products.
- Develop and maintain SKU-level forecasting models and tools to drive accurate demand planning.
- Monitor and analyse sales trends, promotional activity, and seasonal factors to improve forecast accuracy.
- Support the Supply Chain team in implementing best practices for inventory management, leveraging new tools and processes.
- Track and report on KPIs including fulfillment rates, availability, stockholding, and inventory quality through standardised weekly reports.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain, proposing proactive solutions to minimise stockouts and overstocks.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, ideally within the FMCG sector in the UK (fresh category experience preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, VBA, Python, or other analytical tools a plus.
- Proven ability to work with complex data sets and translate insights into actionable supply chain strategies.
- Track record of driving process improvements, implementing systems, or managing change initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
