About The Team
You’ll be joining the Joybuy team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you will do
- Partnership strategy & sourcing: Identify and prioritize potential local and cross-industry brand partners for the UK, whose audience and positioning align with Joybuy's growth objectives.
- Deal structuring & negotiation: Lead end-to-end negotiation of partnership terms, including co-marketing packages and mutually beneficial value exchanges.
- Campaign execution: Work cross-functionally with Brand marketing, and internally with campaign, social marketing and performance marketing to design and deliver co-branded campaigns, activations, and content that raise Joybuy's local relevance and awareness.
- Cross-industry collaborations: Explore non-traditional partnership formats (e.g. co-branded products, event sponsorships, influencer/creator tie-ins, loyalty cross-promotions) to extend Joybuy's reach beyond its existing customer base.
- Performance tracking: Define success metrics for each partnership (awareness, reach, GMV uplift, new customer acquisition, halo effect), track results, and report on ROI to inform future investment decisions.
- Market intelligence: Monitor competitor and industry partnership activity to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the UK market.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in brand partnerships, business development, marketing, or a related commercial role, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or consumer brands.
- Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and delivering successful brand or cross-industry collaborations.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure deals that balance brand value and measurable business impact.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with external brand partners at varying seniority levels.
- Strong project management skills, able to run multiple partnership initiatives simultaneously with cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable defining KPIs and evaluating campaign/partnership performance.
- Familiarity with the UK local market and consumer landscape is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
