JD Logistics is a leading integrated supply chain and logistics provider in China, known for its advanced technology, nationwide delivery network, and expertise in managing large-scale e-commerce and retail logistics operations. We are growing ambitiously in the UK and EU region.

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Manager to lead the end-to-end warehousing and delivery operations for large appliances and bulky products. This role is responsible for optimizing cost efficiency, driving operational excellence, and ensuring strong performance across warehouse, distribution, and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Management & Efficiency Optimization:

  • Take ownership of cost rates and budget performance at the distribution center (DC).
  • Plan DC resources effectively and implement lean management to improve labor productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate cost-control goals while optimizing workflow and resource allocation.

Operational Leadership:

  • Lead local warehousing, delivery, and installation teams to ensure high performance and alignment with corporate policies.
  • Monitor internal KPIs and adjust operational strategies as needed to support business growth.
  • Strengthen coordination between picking, warehousing, and distribution to improve fulfillment efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Process Optimization & Innovation:

  • Continuously improve internal workflows and enhance organizational coordination.
  • Drive iterative improvements to operational models and execution.

Stakeholder & Government Relations:

  • Maintain strong communication with external clients and upstream/downstream partners.
  • Foster productive relationships with local government and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance and readiness for crisis management.
  • Oversee loss prevention and ensure site safety and security.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in both warehousing and delivery, and installation knowledge is a huge plus
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse picking and distribution operations.
  • Proven track record in cost management, lean operations, and team leadership.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
  • English is the working language, yet Chinese(Mandarin) is a huge plus (communicating with HQ)
