The Role
You will manage the translation and localization efforts for the Joybuy e-commerce platform in the UK. Your primary goal is to ensure platform content deeply resonates with local users, aligning seamlessly with their language, cultural norms, and consumer habits. You will also contribute to building and maintaining English and Chinese language assets, providing essential expert support for sustained business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the localization of the overseas e-commerce website interface. Manage language service providers and linguistic resources.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and create a consistent, coherent multilingual user experience.
- Ensure the localization quality of e-commerce web content through rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) and issue resolution, maintaining a hands-on approach.
- Master key challenges in the localization process, direct language quality optimization projects, and cooperate with development teams to drive system and tool improvements.
- Build and maintain the localization team's knowledge base, including terminology, style guides, and process documentation.
- Participate in other localization-related projects, propose proactive improvements, and continuously optimize team workflows and influence.
- Coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to provide professional localization language solutions for new product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Partner deeply with the AI team to participate in the training and optimization of the company's large multilingual AI models. Perform data annotation, quality assessment, prompt optimization, and evaluation/feedback on generated results for French, German, Dutch, and English data, continuously enhancing the AI's translation quality and native adaptation capabilities.
