【About the Role】

This role is pivotal to JD’s next phase of growth: designing and leading our Global Leadership & Management Academy, an initiative directly tied to empowering talent across our international markets. As JD scales its supply chain innovation and global retail infrastructure, we need leaders who can cultivate agile, culturally intelligent teams ready to drive transformation in e-commerce, logistics, and technology.

Here’s what sets this role apart: You’ll build the Academy from the ground up, partnering with senior stakeholders to align management and leadership development with JD’s strategic priorities and culture. Your work will ensure our teams worldwide can navigate complexity, foster innovation, and sustain JD’s position as a Fortune Global 50 leader. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design a scalable leadership curriculum integrating JD’s core values, culture and business transformation priorities.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify leadership gaps and tailor programs for diverse markets e.g., Asia, Europe, Middle East and Americas.
  • Develop metrics to inform design and to assess program effectiveness, ensuring ROI through improved retention, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Foster partnerships with external experts and institutions to incorporate global best practices in leadership development.
  • Promote continuous learning across teams to create personalized development plans.
  • Empower leaders at all levels to take ownership of their growth, building a global network of agile, forward-thinking JD talent ready to lead us through tomorrow’s challenges.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 8+ years experience working in management and leadership development.
  • A proven track record of building leadership programs in multinational organizations e.g., cross-cultural program design tailored for expatriates, regional leaders, and diverse markets.
  • CIPD Level 7, SHRM-SCP and CCL/Hogan/ICF tools in developing leaders would be highly desirable.
  • Experience of working in Global/e-commerce or fast-paced scaling organisations, preferebaly in Tech, Retail or Logistics.
  • Experience designing digital ecosystems e.g., Workday LMS, AI tools to personalize development paths.
