Position Overview
JD Logistics is seeking a responsible and customer-focused Delivery and Installation Driver to handle the delivery of customer orders, provide value-added services, and perform on-site product installations. This role plays a vital part in shaping the customer experience and ensuring end-to-end satisfaction with JD’s bulky or technical product deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Order Delivery: Safely and efficiently transport goods from the delivery station to customers' homes, ensuring on-time and damage-free delivery of items—especially large or bulky products such as appliances and furniture.
- Value-Added Services: Provide professional customer service during each delivery, including unpacking, positioning products, and removing packaging materials as needed.
- Installation Services: Conduct basic product installation according to company guidelines and customer requirements (e.g., connecting appliances, assembling furniture). Ensure functionality and customer acceptance before completing the delivery.
- Customer Interaction: Represent JD Logistics with professionalism and courtesy. Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery times, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Compliance and Safety: Follow all road safety regulations and company operational procedures. Maintain vehicle condition and report any service needs or incidents promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in delivery driving, particularly involving heavy or large items.
- Basic mechanical or installation skills preferred (training may be provided).
- Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy products.
- Responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Mandarin language skills are a plus for internal coordination.
Preferred Experience
- Experience delivering and installing appliances, electronics, or furniture.
