Key responsibilities
- Infrastructure setup: Coordinate multiple internal and external parties to build up project team on setting up the framework for CSRD requirement on both entity level and group consolidation level.
- Data and process verification: Create the company's internal processes for collecting, aggregating, and reporting sustainability data to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
- Internal compliance review: Verify that the sustainability report is compliant with the CSRD regulations and the ESRS framework, including the double materiality assessment.
- Risk mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks, by providing stakeholders with confidence in the reported data.
Essential skills and qualifications
- Strong understanding of sustainability reporting, ESG factors, and the CSRD and ESRS frameworks; strong operational experience.
- Knowledge of auditing principles and practices, ideally from Big 4.
- Ability to assess the robustness of data collection and internal control processes; professional skepticism and objectivity.
- Familiarity with technology and data analytics can be beneficial for efficiency and effectiveness.
