What You’ll Do

  • Define, standardize, and monitor core marketplace metrics such as GMV, Take Rate, LTV, and CAC.
  • Build and scale automated dashboards and reporting pipelines (SQL, Power BI/Tableau) to enable real-time decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across new categories, geographies, and product launches.
  • Design and analyze A/B tests for marketplace features, such as fee structures, incentive programs, UI/UX, services, tools iteration to measure incremental impact.
  • Analyze the end-to-end customer journey to identify drop-off points and conversion opportunities.
  • Segment buyers and sellers to identify high-value behaviors and scale power-user patterns.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of pricing levers (discounts, shipping incentives, seller fees) on profitability.
  • Investigate performance anomalies, identify root causes, and present clear, actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations to translate complex data into business actions.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking to inform pricing, positioning, and marketplace strategy.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in marketplace, eCommerce, or data/business analytics roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI or Tableau), Python or R, and cloud warehousing solutions.
  • Proven ability to translate data into measurable business impact.
  • Highly structured thinker with strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional and international environments.
