You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking Senior Installation Engineers with a strong electrical background to play an integral part in our JoyLogistics team and lead our home delivery services. In this role, you will manage high-specification installations, which may include smart home integration, EV charging points, and premium integrated appliances, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Electrical Installations: Execute and sign off on complex electrical connections and installations in domestic environments.
- Customer Excellence: Provide expert-level product demonstrations, turning a technical installation into a premium experience for the client.
- Technical Mentorship: Act as a dedicated mentor to junior installers and apprentices, conducting on-site coaching and mentoring.
- Quality Assurance: Perform spot checks and audits on installations to ensure they meet both 18th Edition standards and our internal benchmarks.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate certification records and ensure all health and safety protocols are strictly followed by the crew.
About You:
- Qualifications: Fully qualified Electrician (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365, or equivalent).
- Regulations: Up-to-date 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification is essential.
- Experience: Proven track record in domestic electrical work and appliance installation.
- Leadership Mindset: A natural ability to teach others and a passion for developing the next generation of engineers.
- Licensing: A clean UK driving license (experience with 3.5t vehicles is a plus).
