CSRD Manager-EU

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure setup: Coordinate multiple internal and external parties to build up a project team on setting up the framework for CSRD requirements at both entity and group consolidation levels.
• Data and process verification: Create the company’s internal processes for collecting, aggregating, and reporting sustainability data to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
• Internal compliance review: Verify that the sustainability report is compliant with CSRD regulations and the ESRS framework, including the double materiality assessment.
• Risk mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks, providing stakeholders with confidence in the reported data.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Strong understanding of sustainability reporting, ESG factors, and the CSRD and ESRS frameworks. Demonstrated operational experience.
• Knowledge of auditing principles and practices, ideally from a Big 4 firm.
• Ability to assess the robustness of data collection and internal control processes, with professional skepticism and objectivity. Familiarity with technology and data analytics is beneficial for efficiency and effectiveness.
