On The Road Performance Manager (UK)
Hours – 40 per week; shift pattern: Monday – Friday. Location: Milton Keynes / Coventry.

The Role
: The successful candidate will drive best‑in‑class on‑road performance across our UK Delivery Station network, ensuring Operations teams are equipped with processes and mechanisms that optimise performance without impacting efficiency targets.
Responsibilities
- Build mechanisms and reporting that drive on‑road performance and create visibility and trends for leadership and operations teams.
- Develop processes and decision trees that support critical decisions throughout the day that protect customer promise but maintain efficiency.
- Collaborate with capacity planning to optimise efficiency through management of operational timelines to maximise on‑road time for delivery.
- Work closely with Delivery Service Partner (DSP) management on specific DSP performance concerns, ensuring concerns are addressed through a defined process.
- Collaborate with Process Excellence to ensure all stations SOPs are built to incorporate optimal performance management.
- Manage and report on Operational DILO and identification of defects between First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile.
- Coordinate with the Training Team to develop learning content that supports station teams in driving optimal performance.
- Build reporting and review frameworks for daily, weekly and monthly business reviews – performance trends and improvements.

Requirements
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Comprehensive understanding of on‑road performance with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in this field.
- 4 – 5 years’ experience working within the last‑mile environment in an operational or DSP‑facing role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Stakeholder management in a matrix organisation.
- Experience building and deploying projects and programmes.
