Job Responsibilities
- Station Operations: Supervise daily delivery station operations, including parcel sorting, scanning, dispatch, and delivery coordination.
- Team Supervision: Coordinate daily tasks and shift arrangements for station staff, ensuring smooth operations and achievement of operational targets.
- Delivery Performance: Monitor key operational KPIs, including on-time delivery, delivery success rate, productivity, and service quality.
- Last-Mile Coordination: Coordinate with delivery drivers and third-party delivery partners to ensure timely dispatch and efficient delivery operations.
- Problem Solving: Handle daily operational issues, including parcel discrepancies, delivery delays, staffing shortages, and customer complaints.
- Efficiency Improvement: Monitor labour productivity and resource utilisation, identify operational issues, and support process improvements.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with company procedures and UK health and safety requirements, maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
- Reporting: Prepare regular operational reports and provide updates on station performance to management.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in logistics, parcel delivery, warehousing, distribution, or last-mile operations.
- Experience in frontline team supervision or operational coordination.
- Good understanding of delivery station operations, parcel sorting, dispatch, and last-mile delivery processes.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to monitor operational KPIs and manage daily priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends when required.
- A valid UK driving licence is preferred.
- Immediate availability is highly preferred due to urgent hiring needs.

- Experience coordinating delivery drivers or third-party delivery partners.
- Experience in operational reporting and continuous improvement.
