We’re working with a well-established insurance client who is looking to hire an experienced Compliance Manage to join their team on a hybrid basis (remote with regular time in their Halifax office).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative compliance function that plays a key role in supporting the business to meet FCA requirements, manage regulatory risk, and ensure fair customer outcomes.

  • Interpreting new and updated FCA regulations and assessing their impact
  • Leading and supporting 2nd line compliance monitoring activities
  • Coordinating cross-functional regulatory initiatives
  • Advising on compliance matters related to new products and business change
  • Managing responses to FCA consultations, thematic reviews, and enquiries
  • Horizon scanning and preparing the business for regulatory developments
  • Attending relevant committees and engaging with stakeholders across the organisation

Ideal background:

  • Extensive experience within the General Insurance sector
  • Strong working knowledge of FCA regulation
  • Demonstrable success delivering compliance projects and initiatives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

The package includes:

  • Salary up to £67,000 (depending on experience)
  • 12.5% performance bonus
  • 27 days’ holiday + bank holidays (option to buy/sell)
