We’re working with a well-established insurance client who is looking to hire an experienced Compliance Manage to join their team on a hybrid basis (remote with regular time in their Halifax office).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative compliance function that plays a key role in supporting the business to meet FCA requirements, manage regulatory risk, and ensure fair customer outcomes.
- Interpreting new and updated FCA regulations and assessing their impact
- Leading and supporting 2nd line compliance monitoring activities
- Coordinating cross-functional regulatory initiatives
- Advising on compliance matters related to new products and business change
- Managing responses to FCA consultations, thematic reviews, and enquiries
- Horizon scanning and preparing the business for regulatory developments
- Attending relevant committees and engaging with stakeholders across the organisation
Ideal background:
- Extensive experience within the General Insurance sector
- Strong working knowledge of FCA regulation
- Demonstrable success delivering compliance projects and initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The package includes:
- Salary up to £67,000 (depending on experience)
- 12.5% performance bonus
- 27 days’ holiday + bank holidays (option to buy/sell)
- Pension scheme – up to 9% employer contribution
