We’re hiring a UK Compliance Lead to join a growing international healthcare organisation based in South London. This is a part-time (4 days/week) role with meaningful impact across a well-structured, values-driven business that delivers specialist clinical services across the UK.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, standalone compliance role within the UK, supported by a collaborative international team. You'll be part of both the UK leadership team and the wider global compliance function, with dual reporting lines. The focus is operational compliance — implementing, maintaining, and localising the company’s global compliance framework in the UK. This includes anti-corruption, sanctions, antitrust, and aspects of healthcare regulation. You'll also lead internal investigations relating to financial misconduct and support due diligence for key projects and tenders. Your work will range from delivering live and digital training to reviewing approvals and rolling out internal communications. There's occasional travel to clinical sites across the country to help embed a strong compliance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain anti-corruption policies, training, and processes
  • Manage sanctions and antitrust compliance activities
  • Support regulatory compliance in partnership with legal teams
  • Lead investigations into financial conflicts, fraud, and related matters
  • Localise and roll out international compliance programmes
  • Oversee key approvals (e.g., vendor onboarding, contributions, memberships)
  • Conduct monitoring and assist with self-assessments
  • Support due diligence for tenders and capital projects
  • Engage regularly with international compliance colleagues

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–5 years' experience in a compliance role, ideally from a regulated sector (e.g., healthcare, life sciences, logistics, manufacturing)
  • Operational mindset with strong execution skills
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and front-line staff alike
  • Solid tech skills – comfortable with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • A self-starter who’s humble, pragmatic, and collaborative

Note: Experience in AML/KYC or financial services isn’t relevant for this position.

Working Pattern

  • 4 days per week
  • 3–4 days/week in the South London HQ (especially early on)
  • Some occasional UK travel to clinical locations

Why Join?

This is a great opportunity to take ownership in a role with variety, visibility, and the chance to shape how compliance is delivered at the local level. The business is stable, collaborative, and supportive — and your work will have a direct impact on patient-facing operations across the UK.
