Our client are a highly respected Investment Advisory business, who are looking for an Associate to joining the Wealth Planning team in London. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with senior wealth planners and investment advisors in a client-facing capacity, supporting a sophisticated, globally-connected client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior Wealth Planners by preparing tax and inheritance calculations, financial models, and tailored wealth planning action plans.
- Develop and maintain cash flow projection models for long-term planning scenarios.
- Review client documents (e.g., wills, trusts, POAs, tax returns) and summarise key insights with recommendations.
- Conduct research on UK and EMEA-specific tax and estate planning issues and develop relevant client education materials.
- Track client meeting follow-ups in collaboration with Investment Advisors to ensure timely execution.
- Assist in maintaining internal knowledge tools and directories, including software and third-party provider databases.
- Liaise with external professionals (lawyers, accountants) to build relationships and facilitate client support.
Key Experience Required
- A relevant degree; advanced qualifications are a plus
- 2–3 years’ experience in a client-facing role within wealth planning, estate planning, tax, or financial services, ideally in a Private Bank or Family Office
- Solid understanding of UK estate and lifetime taxation, pensions, and general financial planning concepts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain complex financial and legal documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
