Associate – Wealth Planning
London | Wealth Management | Competitive Package
We are currently working with a leading global wealth management organisation, helping them grow their new Wealth Planning offering in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm that are growing on a global scale, and who can offer exceptional career progression and personal development. You will be working with a portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients, helping with tailored services around succession planning, estate planning and inheritance tax.
The Role
As an Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s Wealth Planning services, providing expert guidance across a range of matters including:
- Advising on estate and succession planning strategies.
- Supporting clients and internal teams with inheritance tax planning.
- Reviewing and advising on complex legal documentation.
- Acting as an internal subject matter expert on private client issues.
- Working closely with wealth planners, investment managers, and external advisers to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
The Candidate
We are seeking candidates from either a Legal or Tax background. The successful candidate will have:
- A relevant degree, and experience ion either a law practice, consultancy, private banking or wealth management
- Experience advising private clients (HNW/UHNW) in estate planning, succession planning, or inheritance tax – either in a legal capacity or tax advisory role
- Strong technical knowledge combined with commercial awareness and the ability to communicate effectively with non-legal stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in wealth management and financial planning.
- An understanding of markets regulation outside of the UK is a plus – with experience of cross-border regulations for EU or US citizens particularly advantageous
