We’re supporting a major UK utilities organisation on a large-scale GIS transformation programme, migrating legacy systems to the ArcGIS platform and ESRI Utility Network model. They’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong FME expertise to support data integration, interface design, and migration activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build data interfaces into ArcGIS
- Develop and test FME workflows (Readers, Transformers, Writers)
- Support data migration from legacy GIS systems
- Work closely with SMEs and technical teams to validate integrations
- Assist with ArcGIS data analysis and Utility Network configuration
Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with FME (essential)
- Experience working with ArcGIS (Desktop Pro preferred)
- Background in utilities / infrastructure (ideally DNO)
- Proven experience in data integration, ETL, and system interfaces
