We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Architect to lead a major AWS Landing Zone implementation for a leading insurance client. This is a hands-on, highly technical, client-facing role where you will act as the primary architect driving the solution with support from an offshore team.
Contract: 6 months + 2 weeks (strong extension potential)
Interview: 1-stage process
Location: Primarily remote with occasional on-site workshops in London, Copenhagen, or Belgium (expenses covered)
Team: Offshore delivery team available, but you will be the lead architect
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver a secure, scalable AWS Landing Zone
- Work closely with internal architecture teams to drive technical decisions
- Lead solution design sessions and ensure architectural best practices
- Oversee technical implementation and guide engineering teams
Required Experience:
- 7+ years architecture experience with strong AWS expertise
- Proven Landing Zone delivery experience is essential
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills
- Insurance experience is a plus
