We’re seeking a Business Analyst / Project Manager to deliver change initiatives across front-to-back trading processes for a leading financial institution. The role requires close collaboration with trading desks, middle office, risk, and technology teams to drive improvements and implement new solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture, refine, and document business requirements with precision.
  • Manage projects through full lifecycle — from analysis and design to delivery and rollout.
  • Enhance trade lifecycle controls and strengthen validation processes.
  • Act as the link between Front Office, Operations, and Technology, ensuring alignment and timely execution.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, managing expectations across multiple business lines.

Core Skills & Experience

  • Practical experience with Equity-linked instruments (e.g. warrants, certificates, convertibles).
  • Strong understanding of Derivatives, particularly Rates and Credit products.
  • Solid knowledge of OTC derivative structures and valuation methods.
  • Familiarity with the trade lifecycle and operational control frameworks.
  • Proven track record operating in both BA and PM capacities within investment banking or capital markets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and challenge senior Front Office staff.

Contract Details

  • Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
  • Location: London, hybrid working (3 days on site)
  • Duration: 6 months initially, with scope for extension
