The Parts Sales Executive will be responsible for selling genuine parts for the Volkswagen Group at the JCT600 TPS (Trades Parts Specialist) in Chesterfield / Barnsley. The role requires a proactive approach to customer service, excellent product knowledge, and the ability to generate new sales opportunities while maintaining existing customer relationships. The Parts Sales Executive will play a vital role in ensuring the continued success of our parts sales operation.
Your day to day will include:
- Provide advice and recommendations to trade and retail customers on genuine Volkswagen Group parts
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries over the phone, and via email
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximise repeat sales opportunities
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue sales leads
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing accurate, timely, and professional service
What we are looking for:
Essential:
- Proven experience in sales or retail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer orders simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in using computer systems
- A full, clean UK driving licence is preferable
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Volkswagen Group parts and vehicles
- Experience working within a dealership or parts supply environment
