As a Business Development Manager, you will work to manage, grow and maximise sales and profitability for the Mercedes Benz Group. Demonstrating both professionalism and passion at all times, you will deliver the highest level of customer experience to current and potential customers to ensure both satisfaction and retention.
Your day to day will include:
- Delivering the highest level of customer experience to current and potential customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Actively setting out to achieve and exceed both personal and departmental sales objectives, proactively identifying, canvassing and securing potential local business. This includes Commercial Vehicles where appropriate.
- Delivering a thoughtful, personalised sales process which demonstrates a thorough understanding of the customer throughout.
- Maintaining and developing long term relationships with all current and potential customers from the existing database and prospecting, including conducting regular review meetings with management.
- Writing and presenting appropriate and professional business proposals when required.
- Developing the sale of appropriate Finance and Insurance packages to customers, in accordance with FCA best practice to ensure that agreed objectives are achieved.

- Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service (no motor trade experience needed).
- Strong people skills – confident, professional, and customer-focused.
- Comfortable working to targets and deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence (free from excessive penalties).
