As a Purchasing Co-ordinator you will provide hands-on support to the Purchasing Team, allowing us to ensure we achieve each aspect of the vehicle procurement process in the most robust and efficient way possible. Working closely with our suppliers by processing orders, booking deliveries and organising vehicle collections, you will also be required to communicate efficiently with other departments regarding vehicle/manufacturer information. In summary, you will oversee and assist in the vehicle ordering journey from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the ordering of all new vehicles in line with Manufacturer terms.
- Organising the delivery and collection of all contract hire vehicles.
- Handling customer and internal enquiries.
- Maintaining relationships with approved suppliers and liaising with our customers to reinforce a high standard of customer service.
- Liaising with our suppliers on a daily basis to discuss outstanding vehicle orders and queries.
- Assisting in sourcing vehicles alongside the Account Management team.
- Confirming delivery details with our suppliers in a prompt manner in order to ensure we are providing outstanding customer service.
- Organising demonstration vehicles on behalf of JCT600’s customers.
- Ordering of new vehicles via approved / customer nominated suppliers.
- Validating and processing vehicle supplier invoices.
