We're looking for a results-driven Workshop Manager to lead our high-performing team at our Mercedes-Benz Harrogate dealership. If you’re ready to boost your aftersales career with ongoing training, career progression, and a culture of excellence, this is your chance!

As a Workshop Manager your day-to-day will include:

  • Utilising the resources in the workshop to achieve budgeted financial and operational objectives without compromising the quality of the work produced, ensuring at all times the highest level of customer experience.
  • Ensuring effective communication between the Workshop and Front of House team to deliver the highest level of service to our customers.
  • Leading, coaching and developing the Workshop team to elevate their performance and behaviours whilst delivering results, holding regular reviews and team meetings.
  • Ensuring appropriate resource management, overseeing the workflow through the workshop to achieve the highest levels of productivity, efficiency and utilisation.
  • Driving and maintaining a team culture of high performance and excellence!

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience: Previous experience working within in a main-dealer workshop, current Workshop Controller or Assistant Manager. An NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Requirements: Full UK driving licence (free from excessive penalties).
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication to explain technical issues clearly. Customer-first attitude.
