We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our busy, manufacturer-approved dealer Bodyshop in Bradford. This is a key role within the business, ensuring accurate assessments, efficient repairs, and excellent customer satisfaction.
Your day to day will include:
- Accurately assessing vehicle damage and preparing repair estimates
- Using Audatex / GT Estimate (or similar) to produce cost-effective repair methods
- Liaising with technicians, parts departments, insurers, and customers
- Monitoring repair progress and authorising additional work where required
- Ensuring repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards
- Supporting the smooth workflow of the Bodyshop and meeting KPI targets
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator
- ATA qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of body shop repair methods and procedures
- Experience working within a dealer or approved repairer environment
- Confident using estimating systems (Audatex experience highly desirable)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail with a customer-focused approach
