Our Purchasing Lead / Vehicle deliveries team leader, based at our Head Office in Bradford, will play a key role in leading our vehicle procurement operation. You will manage the Purchasing team responsible for the end-to-end vehicle procurement journey, while building and maintaining strong relationships with JCT600 VLS approved vehicle suppliers and OEM partners to ensure the highest standards are delivered in line with agreed SLAs. This is a challenging and rewarding leadership role overseeing critical business functions that are central to our continued growth and evolving business model.

Your day to day will include:

  • Lead and develop the Purchasing team, ensuring performance meets customer and departmental SLAs and KPIs while maintaining high data accuracy.
  • Conduct regular 1–2–1s, training plans and team meetings to support development, communication, and performance.
  • Manage and resolve customer and supplier queries, ensuring issues are prioritised and resolved within agreed timeframes.
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance, sharing insights and results with suppliers and the management team.
  • Negotiate competitive dealer discounts and OEM terms, ensuring our offers remain strong within the market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and key supplier partners to deliver business objectives and support continued growth.
