A brilliant opportunity has opened up within the JCT600 Talent Acquisition team for a Talent Acquisition Co-Ordinator.
Working within a talented and supportive People team, you will be the lead and primary point of contact for our early careers channels incorporating both our Apprentice and Trainee programmes, whilst co-ordinating and supporting a varied and interesting mix of Talent Acquisition and Employer Brand activity across the business.
This is a Group role supporting our business across Yorkshire, the North East and Lincolnshire therefore travel as required should be expected.
Given the location of the wider Talent Acquisition team, the successful candidate will ideally be based within West Yorkshire.
- Your Day-to-day Will Include
- Leading the recruitment process for our trainee programmes, from sourcing and screening candidates through to organising and supporting assessments.
- Coordinating our apprentice recruitment process, reviewing applications and working with manufacturer partners to ensure a smooth, timely and professional process.
- Being the go-to contact for hiring managers, manufacturers and training providers on all apprenticeship matters.
- Championing apprentice wellbeing, working closely with managers, People Partners and training providers to provide the right support throughout their journey.
- Building and nurturing talent pipelines, proactively engaging with prospective candidates and building and driving Talent pools across the Group.
- Working with regional schools and colleges to promote our early careers opportunities, diarising relevant events to ensure a balanced schedule of engagement activity.
- Managing the end-to-end vacancy administration process, from creating and updating job adverts to posting roles across multiple job boards.
- Maintaining timely and accurate Talent Acquisition reporting across various systems and trackers, including government apprenticeship systems and reporting.
- Owning and continuously improving the Recruitment & Selection area of the company intranet, ensuring content is engaging and up to date.
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider Talent Acquisition team with tasks and projects that help deliver an exceptional recruitment experience both internally and externally.
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in a Talent Acquisition or Early Careers role is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage a busy workload affectively and positively.
- A customer centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations, with exceptional customer facing and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to use your own initiative, multi-task and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Competent in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Full UK driving licence (no excessive penalty points).
