Volkswagen York is one of our most dynamic and strategically important Centres, recognised for its strong market presence, loyal customer base and outstanding performance across both Volkswagen Cars and Commercial Vehicles. As we continue to strengthen our leadership structure across the group, with several recent internal promotions creating exciting movement and progression, we are now seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Head of Business to lead Volkswagen York into its next phase of growth.
This is a substantial senior leadership opportunity, suited to an established Head of Business with proven success operating at scale, capable of driving strategy, delivering operational excellence and inspiring high‑performing, multi‑disciplined teams across both sales and aftersales.
The RoleAs Head of Business, you will lead Volkswagen York with a hands‑on yet strategic approach—fully engaged in the day‑to‑day operations while setting the vision for long‑term growth. Collaboration is central to the role. You will work seamlessly with support teams, other Heads of Business, and the wider JCT600 division to ensure alignment, shared success, and consistent delivery of exceptional results.
About YouWe’re looking for an exceptional, proven leader with the credibility, experience and presence required to lead a sizeable, high‑performing automotive Centre. You will bring:
- Significant senior leadership experience within the automotive industry
- A proven track record of driving performance across both sales and aftersales, with a leadership approach that is strategic, visible, and performance‑driven.
- A commitment to customer centricity, ensuring a first‑class experience every time through visible leadership, service excellence and a passion for delivering what matters to customers.
- Strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret data, manage budgets, and shape long‑term growth through change.
