As our brand portfolio is currently made up of 21 manufacturer brands, you will work with the wider marketing team and support the Brand Marketing Manager with the co‑ordination of marketing and advertising activities for many of these iconic brands such as Audi, Volkswagen and Maserati. Working alongside the central marketing department, and taking direction from the Directors and Brand Directors, you will support business objectives as outlined by both JCT600 and our brand partners. This includes the co‑ordination and communication of all marketing and advertising materials and activity to internal and external business partners.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities:
- Generating content for jct600.co.uk including news, events, offers and any changes of personnel.
- Management of manufacturer websites.
- Working with our agency partner to plan and implement awareness and tactical digital campaigns across a number of channels such as Google (Display, PPC and Retargeting) and third‑party websites.
- Carrying out regular merchandising checks of our stock on jct600.co.uk and third‑party websites such as AutoTrader to ensure the stock and descriptions are of a high standard.
- Liaising with the on‑site progress chaser to advise of any changes.
- Managing your retailers’ social media pages by generating organic and engaging content for them.
- Encouraging each retailer to have a social media champion to help produce unique content.
- Working with our agency partner to plan and implement sponsored/paid social activity across social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Managing the briefing, proofing, approval and results reporting processes.
- Working with the central CRM Team, CSC Team and Renewals Team, to ensure you are communicating with customers in an appropriate and timely manner in order to increase customer retention.
- Using email and SMS to deploy tactical marketing campaigns to our database.
- Identifying and presenting opportunities for events, partnerships and product placements.
- Ordering indoor and outdoor point of sale for your retailers and carrying out regular checks to ensure it is of a high standard.
- Holding quarterly planning meetings with the Brand Directors to understand their objectives for the quarter ahead, along with your Brand Marketing Manager.
- Producing quarterly marketing planners for your brands and retailers.
- Working closely with your Brand Marketing Manager to understand marketing budgets.
- Planning around these budgets and advising on the most effective marketing channels to generate the best results and return on investment.
Qualifications:
- Qualified or with experience in a marketing discipline.
- A customer‑centric approach; always striving to deliver service above customer expectations, and the ability to create and develop a culture of continuous improvement.
- Competent in Microsoft Office packages, specifically Word and Excel and other applications as required.
- Must have excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
- Possess a calm and organised approach in dealing with workload and tasks.
- A valid driving licence which is free from excessive penalties.
