What do you need to know?
The Service Technician Apprentice role is a three‑year programme in which you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repair, from routine servicing to complex diagnostics and repairs for our customers’ vehicles. Initially you will shadow a qualified technician to learn how to use modern technology in all aspects of vehicle service and repair until you gain the ability and confidence to work alone. Once you are ready, you will then be expected to carry out servicing and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.
You will receive block training at the purpose‑built training academy. This will be complemented by a combination of Virtual Classroom sessions and e‑Learning modules, supported through every part of the apprenticeship programme via practical work experience and assessments.
On successful completion of the programme, you will receive a Level 3 Service and Maintenance Light Vehicle Technician qualification.
Qualifications:
- Gained or working towards GCSE grade 4–9 in Maths, English and a science‑related subject (or conditional offer if these are achieved by summer 2026 for an August/September start).
