We are looking for a Workshop Controller who leads from the front.
This is a hands-on, semi-productive role, combining workshop control and administrative tasks, with active involvement on the tools.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the aftersales department, while maintaining high technical standards across both traditional and next generation vehicles.
- What You'll Be Working On
- A wide range of vehicles - from petrol & diesel models to brand-new EV and hybrid technology
- Multi-franchise diagnostic and repair work
- Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles including Changan & XPENG EV
- Fault-finding, warranty work and general maintenance
- Proven experience as a vehicle technician, ideally with multi-brand exposure
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication to explain technical issues clearly
- Customer-first attitude
- Full UK driving licence (free from excessive penalties)
- Annual leave: 34 days including bank holidays, increasing to 36 days (5 years) and 38 days (10 years)
