We are seeking enthusiastic, resilient and compassionate individuals to join our Autism Resource Provision, supporting autistic students within a mainstream secondary school. This role would suit graduates, those considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, clinical psychology or other SEND-related professions, as well as anyone passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people.

You will join a dedicated, supportive and forward‑thinking team committed to promoting independence, inclusion and positive outcomes for every student.
Responsibilities
- Supporting students' learning in mainstream and specialist lessons
- Delivering targeted interventions
- Promoting emotional regulation and independence
- Working with individuals and small groups to develop academic, social communication and executive functioning skills
- Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists and families as part of a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience of, or interest in, supporting autistic students with a range of individual needs
- Able to work full time, 34 hours per week, term time only (or part time by agreement)
The position would suit those considering a teaching career (opportunities exist, for suitable candidates, to be sponsored for teacher training in the future) wishing to gain experience in a mainstream secondary school, those interested in Educational Psychology or seeking a longer‑term post working with teenagers in a supportive role in a stimulating environment.
A casual contract offers guaranteed minimum hours by agreement and depending on the requirement of the department.
