The Opportunity
As Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the home, ensuring exceptional standards of care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and resident satisfaction.
You'll lead from the front, creating a positive and inclusive culture where residents can thrive and colleagues feel valued, supported, and empowered to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home.
- Ensure the highest standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered.
- Maintain full compliance with Care Inspectorate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive occupancy and reputation through strong community and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage budgets effectively and deliver agreed financial targets.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain a high-performing team.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, local authorities, and external partners.
- Champion continuous improvement and quality across all areas of the service.
About You
- Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager / Home Manager within an elderly nursing and/or residential care setting.
- Nurse qualificaiton.
- A strong track record of achieving positive regulatory outcomes.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing budgets and driving occupancy.
Package & Benefits
- Salary of £53,000 per annum NEG/DOE
- Up to 20% annual performance bonus plus £1,000 monthly occupancy bonus
