Lalys Pharmacy is a long established independent community pharmacy with 16 branches across the South. We are looking for a GPhC registered pharmacist to work in our central Portsmouth branch
Salary up to £60k pro rata depending on experience and how long qualified
Work Pattern:
Friday 9:00-18:30, Saturday 9:00-12:00 (12.5 hours a week). You can pick up extra shifts on an ad-hoc basis if desired, which would give you extra hours every week

Person specification:
- GPhC registered
- Able to provide high quality care and customer service
- Capable of the safe, legal and effective day-to-day running of a community pharmacy
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with patients and customers, with integrity & compassion
- Leadership skills - leading a small team, supported by our HR department
- Community pharmacist experience preferred, but not essential - you may be newly qualified or a hospital pharmacist, for example.
Key responsibilities:
- Process prescription medication accurately & in a timely manner
- Adhere to legal & ethical guidelines and compliance, updating knowledge & skills as necessary
- Ensure patient and branch records are kept accurate & up to date in accordance with any deadlines
- Provide expert advice on medication, potential side effects, and interactions to patients
- Educate patients on proper medication use, such as dosage, timing, and storage instructions
- Provide various patient services, eg vaccinations & the Pharmacy First services
- Support branch-level HR operations within your team
