Experience essential, MCA qualification preferred. Poundbury Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy proudly serving the community. We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant. You will have pharmacy experience, and ideally, you will be a qualified Medicines Counter Assistant.
Main duties will include:
- Accept prescriptions
- Help customers with over the counter medication, supplies, prescription deliveries & process sales
- Assist with upholding the clean & tidy standards of the store
- Support with keeping the shop floor stocked
- Answer the phone and redirect calls as needed
- Occasionally pick up extra shifts to cover annual leave in the team
- Abide by pharmacy regulations
- Support the pharmacist with services and dispensary tasks
Fixed work pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 9-17:30; Saturday 9-12:00 (27 hours a week). Please ensure you can commit to the work pattern before applying.
