Victoria Park Pharmacy is looking for a GPhC registered ACT.
You will work under the supervision of the pharmacist to prepare medicines and other healthcare products and the ACT qualification is essential.
Main duties:
- Supporting the branch lead or pharmacist with staff training, management & guidance
- Dispensing and accuracy checking of prescription medicines including controlled drugs
- Patient counselling, and provision of information and advice on minor ailments
- Supporting counter staff with OTC medicines sales, and advice about their safe & effective use
- Stock control – dispensary medicines
- Following SOPs and other regulatory requirements, and supporting staff with adherence to this
- Prescription administrative tasking, including end-of-month submissions
- Supporting with provision of Pharmacy First services
- Overseeing email queries throughout the day and answering telephone queries
- Supporting the pharmacist with general day to day management of the pharmacy

Work pattern:
Monday to Friday 9:00-17:30 (1 hour break) = 37.5 hours a week. Occasional cover on a Saturday will be required 9-13:00 (max 1 per month)
