We are looking for an experienced Mechanical estimator with experience in Ductwork or thermal insulation, to work on fast track fitout projects typically ranging from 500K to £2m in value. This role can be hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days home). Rare position with a very quality driven, higher end Building Services Contractor we have supplied for 20 years. Lead role, supported by more junior staff. Exceptional working environment.
- Proficiency in researching materials, equipment, and labour costs.
- Experience with estimating software.
- Strong Excel skills are beneficial.
- Skilled in liaising with clients to gather project requirements.
- Ability to obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Experience assessing project risks and preparing detailed quotations.
- Proven track record of maintaining strong client and site relationships.
- Competent in data analysis, cost forecasting, and compliance checks.
- Attending design, progress, and commercial meetings regularly.
