About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor with electrical experience to join my client based in Canary Wharf. Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the commercial management of allocated projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to client requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Manage commercial functions from project start to completion. * Work with clients on contract terms, risk analysis, and scope changes. * Oversee project handovers from pre-construction to site teams. * Administer contracts (NEC, JCT, Bespoke) and ensure compliance. * Monitor and report on costs, cash flow, and change control. * Prepare sub-contractor/supplier packages and oversee payments. * Negotiate and agree final accounts. * Conduct procurement management, invoice approvals, and claim resolution. * Support project planning and financial forecasting. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications & Experience: * 3–4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the electrical sector. * BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent construction qualification. * Strong knowledge of construction & engineering contracts and processes. Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office & industry software . * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable: * Chartered Membership of RICS (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards it
