What You Will Do

As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the safe, compliant and efficient operation of our manufacturing site in Stockport. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, EHS team and external service providers, you will coordinate day-to-day facilities activities, manage statutory compliance schedules, oversee contractors and ensure facilities-related work is completed to the required standards and operation admin. This is a site-based role with regular interaction across all business functions and external partners.

How You Will Do It

  • Planandscheduleday-to dayfacilitiesmaintenanceactivitiesacrossthesite.
  • Coordinateworkordersfromrequestthroughtosuccessfulcompletion.
  • Arrangeandoverseesubcontractedservices,ensuringworkiscompletedsafelyandtospecification.
  • Raisepurchaseordersandcoordinatetheprocurementofparts,materialsandservices.
  • Manageandmaintainthesitecompliancecalendar,ensuringinspections,servicingandcertificationsarecompletedontime.
  • Monitorcontractorperformanceandensurecompliancewithsitehealth,safetyandenvironmentalrequirements.
  • Coordinatecontractorinductions,permitsandsiteaccessarrangements.
  • Maintainaccuratefacilities,complianceandcontractorrecords.
  • Liaisewithinternalstakeholderstoprioritisefacilitiesrequirementsandresolvesite-relatedissues.
  • Supportaudits,inspectionsandcontinuousimprovementinitiativesrelatingtofacilitiesmanagementandcompliance.
  • Make sure the facilities are in good working order, which will include repairs.
  • Responsible for updating operation admin.

What We Are Looking For

Required

  • Hands on experience in building maintenance. Level 2 or Level 3 certificates in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar.
  • Experienceinfacilitiescoordination,maintenanceplanning,contractormanagementorasimilarrole.
  • Strongorganisationalskillswiththeabilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesanddeadlines.
  • Knowledgeofhealth,safetyandstatutorycompliancerequirementswithinanindustrialormanufacturingenvironment.
  • Strongcommunicationandstakeholdermanagementskills.
  • GoodITskills,includingMicrosoftOfficeandexperiencemaintainingrecordsanddocumentation.
  • Abilitytoworkindependentlyandproactivelymanageworkload.
  • Understandingofpermit-to-worksystemsandcontractormanagementbestpractice.
