In this role you lead technology-led transformation programmes, ensuring secure, scalable delivery and strong PMO governance. You align business priorities with architecture and delivery, guiding programmes from scoping through production with clear ownership and measurable value. You collaborate with enterprise and solution architecture, engineering, and suppliers to manage risks and readiness, driving adoption and operational readiness. You will influence how complex tech change is governed and transitioned to supportability and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex technical programmes across discovery, planning, delivery, transition and closure with robust scope, risks and decisions control.
- Coordinate delivery across Azure, applications, integrations, data platforms and digital services ensuring supportability and security.
- Partner with Enterprise and Solution Architecture to align design decisions, standards, dependencies and roadmap.
- Maintain PMO governance materials: RAID, dependencies, financial impacts, decision logs, governance packs and delivery confidence reporting.
- Enable technical delivery by removing blockers, coordinating readiness and managing release/cutover activity.
- Ensure business adoption, documentation, operational readiness and benefits realisation through technical delivery.
Key requirements
- Strong PMO capability across RAID, dependencies, governance reporting, financial control and executive updates.
- Experience managing technical programmes across applications, integration, cloud, data or platforms.
- Ability to partner with architecture, engineering, applications, data or suppliers.
- Understanding of technical delivery lifecycles, testing, release planning, cutover and transition to support.
- Azure experience and architecture/project/programme or agile qualifications or equivalent practical experience (desirable).
- Technically curious and able to translate complexity into clear business language.
- Structured and calm under pressure, maintaining delivery pace without losing control.
- Constructively challenging where technical choices create risk or lack of supportability.
- Azure cloud Architecture alignment PMO governance and reporting.
