As a Project Manager at JCDecaux, you will lead the full lifecycle delivery of Out-of-Home (OOH) asset installation projectsāfrom concept, design, and feasibility through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. You will ensure all projects are safe, technically robust, commercially efficient, and delivered on time and within budget. Working with designers, engineers, contractors, and internal teams, you will drive excellence in engineering, safety, stakeholder management, and long-term asset performance.
What you'll be doing...
- Design & Technical Leadership
- Support Development and Planning teams with feasibility studies, early-stage design input, and budget estimates
- Appraise proposals, defining scope, risks, and technical requirements
- Lead and coordinate multiādisciplinary design reviews (structural, electrical, H&S, IT, Operations, and external partners)
- Manage the full design process, ensuring engineering integrity, aesthetics, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability
- Align product and engineering solutions with JCDecaux global standards
- Commission surveys, investigations, and conceptual designs to support tendering & budgeting
- Fulfil CDM designāstage duties, including risk elimination, preāconstruction information, and liaison with the Principal Designer
- Track design progress and technical performance against programme
- Engineering & Project Delivery
- Deliver projects from concept through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover
- Develop and manage project programmes, risk registers, change controls, progress reporting, and delivery plans
- Lead tendering: prepare ITTs, manage queries, evaluate bids, recommend awards, and appoint contractors / designers
- Oversee site works, ensuring CDM compliance, safe systems of work, and adherence to JCDecaux technical standards
- Ensure contractor delivery meets safety, quality, technical, and programme requirements
- Manage commissioning and acceptance of digital systems (IT, displays, CCTV) and handover to Operations
- Lead project close-out and lessonsālearned activity
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations, JCDecaux Safety Management Systems, RAMS, and Construction Phase Plans
- Review and approve RAMS / CPPs and secure all required H&S signāoffs
- Conduct regular audits of sites and contractors to maintain safe working standards
- Support Operations in maintaining safety across live assets
- Oversee completion and acceptance of the Project Health & Safety File
- Commercial & Contract Management
- Manage project CapEx budgets, ensuring accuracy, cost control, and financial accountability
- Monitor and negotiate costs with suppliers and contractors to secure best value
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, financial controls, and procurement policy
- Manage contract administration including payment schedules, milestone certification, variations, and change control
- Ensure all project documentation (O&M manuals, warranties, technical files, compliance certificates, asābuilt) is complete at handover
- Administer NEC4 and other construction contracts with commercial clarity and discipline
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with internal teams (H&S, Development, IT, Operations) to ensure seamless, integrated project delivery
- Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships with landlords, contractors, authorities, suppliers, and design partners
- Assemble and lead internal / external design teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Provide clear communication and reporting to senior stakeholders on programme status and risk

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven project management in design and construction of structural installations, within Transport infrastructure, signage, or specialist fabrication sectors
- Degreeāqualified (BEng / MEng) in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline)
- Exceptional candidates with extensive industry experience and strong technical competence will also be considered
- Experience managing contractors, designers, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations, H&S requirements
- Experience commissioning surveys and preāconstruction design works
- Strong familiarity with CAD and technical drawing interpretation
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
