The Grow/L&D assistant is there to support the Grow function. This role is to ensure that all administration is up to date and processes are effective to maximise the experience for colleagues and efficiency and reporting for the business. This role reports to the Head of Grow.

What you'll be doing...

  • Being a go-to person for all learning and development queries, both within the People team and across the business.
  • Assisting in the preparation of any learning and development materials required by the Head of Grow or trainer.
  • Producing and maintaining accurate records of learning and development activity and attendees.
  • Being responsible for sending feedback surveys to colleagues and then collating and sharing data to help evaluate the impact of our learning solutions.
  • Supporting the Head of Grow to enable our learning and development goals to be achieved.
  • Writing and preparing communications to help attract more colleagues to take up Grow opportunities.
  • Managing the learning and development calendar, ensuring that courses are available to book onto via Bee.
  • If external suppliers are to be used, arranging the booking of trainers, venues/rooms etc.
  • Being the administrative owner of all systems used by Grow, such as JCDecaux Academy, Culture Amp, Thrive etc.
  • Supporting the delivery of our apprenticeship programmes by managing the administration of these effectively to ensure our levy is managed efficiently, and external suppliers and colleagues have a great experience.
  • Ensuring all L&D statistics are up to date and accurate to ensure reporting is correct.
  • Supporting the Head of Grow in researching learning and development topics where needed.
  • Working with the Workday Lead to improve methods of reporting where needed.
  • Working with the Personal Assistant to ensure all L&D invoices are processed and any new supplier forms are correct.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider HR team where required.

  • Previous experience working in an environment handling confidential information.
  • Fully competent systems/database management experience.
  • Writing basic reports.
  • Strong organisation skills, competent, and efficient, with a flexible and accommodating attitude.
  • High attention to detail with strong writing and numeracy skills.
  • Able to work under pressure in a demanding environment and able to achieve tight deadlines; multi-tasking.
