The Digital Technician is responsible for the maintenance (reactive & preventative) of all JCDecaux Digital advertising assets, covering Rail, Retail, Roadside and Street Furniture environments.
What You\'ll Be Doing...
Site Visit
- Respond to maintenance call-outs for digital advertising assets and fault resolution, ensuring clear communication of any faults or issues that may/has arisen
- Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance
- Promptly and accurately report any damage to any company assets.
- Ensure correct tools, equipment and parts are taken to site and everything is kept in good order
- Assist in quality checks of all sites.
- Work to agreed SLAs and defined quality standards
- Work within the safe systems of work
- Work within Health & Safety guidelines ensuring that any accidents, hazards and near misses are reported immediately
- Ensure all operational practices comply with current Health and Safety regulations.
- Undertake reasonable lifting duties.
- Comfortable with high level working – working at heights within safety guidelines.
- Ensure that the correct PPE is worn when necessary.
- Capture data, produce reports and update relevant documentation
- Accountable for van stock and on-site spare parts - adhere to stores booking-in/out and stock management procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of a company vehicle and to ensure that all vehicle related documentation
- Accurately maintain daily worksheets and placement of requisitions to stores.

- Work as part of the on-call team (on a rota basis), being fully flexible with working hours which could include evenings, Weekends and Bank Holidays
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Thrive on being a team-player – supporting colleagues, sharing information and best practices
- Must be an adaptable, committed and reliable
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience directly involved in troubleshooting, preferably within field repair of electro mechanical systems and equipment
- Basic electrical understanding/competency
- Understanding of communications networks (WAN, LAN, cellular and ADSL Routers)
- Experience with supporting digital screens and IT systems (Desirable)
- IPAF & PASMA trained and experience with MEWPs (Desirable)
- Working with Approved Service Contractors (ASC)
- Able to comfortably use different computer packages and mobile devises as part of your day to day role
- Clean drivers licence
