Lead the GENgage Programme, an initiative designed to help brands effectively reach and engage the Gen Z audience through the power of Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising. The Lead Business Growth Manager will deliver incremental revenue by leveraging their own client base of direct advertisers and by supporting wider JCDecaux sales teams with subject matter expertise on Gen Z engagement strategies. Additionally, the Lead Business Growth Manager will play an active role in steering and delivering JCDecaux’s initiatives aimed at connecting brands with Gen Z consumers. This includes collaborating with other relevant departments to bring new innovations and partnerships that resonate with the Gen Z demographic.
What You\’ll Be Doing…
- Maximise incremental revenue and growth opportunities from brands targeting the Gen Z audience.
- Position JCDecaux as a leader in engaging Gen Z consumers within the media sector, creating a credible voice for JCDecaux in this field.
- Identify areas of opportunity and risk in Gen Z engagement and develop responses aligned with business strategy with C-suite clients.
- Understand Gen Z engagement strategies and set the agenda both internally and externally.
- Design and manage the GENgage programme to improve key aspects of performance in reaching Gen Z.
- Lead JCDecaux’s dialogue on Gen Z engagement with external stakeholder groups, e.g., brands, agencies, and networks.
- Build a network of contacts and become involved with relevant forums to ensure JCDecaux is a credible voice and peer in the Gen Z engagement space.
- Liaise with JCDecaux’s marketing and innovation departments, helping ensure the UK continues to lead the way on initiatives targeting Gen Z within the global JCDecaux group.
- Manage own client base of brand or corporate advertisers, delivering high-value and innovative campaigns capable of delivering incremental revenue and enhancing JCDecaux’s reputation as a leader in engaging Gen Z within the media industry.
- Support wider sales teams in responding to briefs related to Gen Z engagement and creating proactive opportunities for major brand advertisers who prefer to book via agency/specialist channels.
- Ensure that all relevant internal departments are kept aware of Gen Z engagement campaigns through open communication channels, including but not limited to CRM records.

Sales Expertise
- An entrepreneur with extensive knowledge and understanding of the principles of engaging Gen Z consumers and best practices.
- Good understanding of the cultural, social, and technological factors that influence Gen Z behaviour and preferences.
- Strong project management skills, ability to create and forge partnerships, collaborative approach, and connects people to ideas and business opportunities.
- Experience within the marketing and advertising arena, particularly in campaigns targeting Gen Z.
- Experience liaising with a range of different internal and external stakeholders, including brands and agencies at senior levels for over 3 years.
- Extensive knowledge across sectors that are relevant to Gen Z, including technology, fashion, entertainment, and social media.
- Ability to take complex sales strategies, including marketing and insight, and ensure they fit within the channels preferred by Gen Z consumers.
- Proactive approach.
- Ability to work and thrive in an autonomous environment; able to self-manage and drive performance in an ever-changing and dynamic marketplace.

- Media experience is favourable but not required.
