This role is encouraged to evolve as the digital out of home advances. You will be expected to adopt a change mind-set that leads, encourages and supports this business growth and evolution. What you'll be doing… As an Account Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the Trading team in all aspects of sales activity to help build professional and positive relationships internally and externally. You are an ambassador for JCDecaux and as such, you are recognised for and expected to demonstrate behaviour which expresses our Company values and celebrates others who do the same.

Commercial

  • Develop solid understanding of our trading systems: Datapoint, Merlin, Atlas, CRM and Route to maintain up to date information.
  • Provide rapid response to enquiries and requests from partners and sales teams relating to Trading.
  • Build knowledge of company products and services and their benefits.
  • Administrate the routes to market and sales policy/targeting strategy.
  • Provide regular reports and sales figures proactively and as requested by partners and sales teams relating to trading.
  • Measure and report on trading performance and issues, including but not limited to; system performance, data integrity and governance, process optimisation for specific accounts.
  • Measure and report on compliance of trading, market strategy and expectations with specific JCDecaux accounts.
  • Lead a small group of tactical accounts.
  • Administrates trading data within systems to enable the market, and to maximise yield.
  • Work with other team members to ensure all trading-related queries and service requests are covered in a timely manner and high-quality service is maintained.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to systems.
  • Liaison with Sales and Trading teams.
  • Support the development of creation materials that enable sales teams to promote JCDecaux.
  • Adhere to and advocate wider adoption of the established business and commercial policies, and enabling processes and governance, in place to achieve our business strategy.
  • Training and support for Partners in the use of trading platforms and processes to complete bookings.

  • Confident communication and presentation skills when speaking with all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships internally and externally.
  • A self-starter with the ability to prioritise to achieve deadlines and maintain client expectations.
  • Adaptable to work alone and be part of a team to support colleagues, share information and improve on standard processes.
  • The ability to use your initiative and a confident approach to decision making.
  • Proficiency and desire to develop an understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market or the needs/challenges of assigned accounts.
  • Strong numeracy skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Fully conversant with all aspects of Microsoft packages with an intermediate ability in Excel.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience using CRM systems to input data and produce reports would be an advantage, not essential.
  • Previous experience working in a similar campaign or deadline driven environment would be an advantage, not essential.
  • Track record of performing as a key contributor within impactful teams.
  • Demonstrable capability to perform effectively under operational pressure and time constraints.
