The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.

This role will be to clean and maintain all JCDecaux and Edinburgh Council bus shelters in Edinburgh.

What you'll be doing...

  • Support the cleaning and maintenance team in Edinburgh to ensure that all JCDecaux street furniture and Edinburgh Council shelters are always maintained to the highest standard.
  • Hours of work are Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm.
  • Respond to maintenance issues.
  • Carry out routine maintenance.
  • Promptly and accurately report any damage to the company assets.
  • Ensure vehicle is correctly stocked with tools and equipment for the tasks and kept in good working order.
  • Produce a high-quality standard of work on each asset attended.
  • Report any hazards to site area following the correct procedure.
  • Work to agreed SLA’s and defined quality standards.
  • Work within the safe systems of work.
  • Work within Health & Safety guidelines ensuring that accidents, hazards and near misses are reported immediately.
  • Ensure all operational practices comply with the current Health & Safety regulations.
  • Comfortable with high level working - working at height within safety guidelines.
  • Ensure that the correct issued PPE is worn when necessary.

Other:

  • Develop a good understanding of the industry.
  • Able to work with different systems.
  • Adhere to stores booking in/out and stock management procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of a company vehicle and ensure all relevant documentation is kept updated and filed safely.
  • Accurately maintain daily worksheets and other necessary paperwork.
