The Senior Account Manager - Airport role is pivotal in developing and managing relationships with JCDecaux’s key Airport partners. Taking day to day control of these partnerships and ensuring best in class customer service throughout their organisations. Working very closely with the partners to ensure the most fluid lines of communication are sustained. Reporting to our partners monthly and as and when required, working with the Commercial Analyst for Airports. Both external and internal stakeholder management is key to this role.
What you'll be doing...
- Productive relationships – External
- Build and maintain relationships with all Airport operators within this sector. Liaising with key stakeholders nationally within this partnership group.
- Develop and maintain senior level relationships across all portfolios.
- Ensure maximum visibility and responsiveness to all partners.
- Keeping partners informed and ensuring strong lines of communications in all relationships by arranging and hosting regular meetings.
- Regular travel to introduce and develop rapport with all key stakeholders, gaining an understanding of each unique environment.
- Day-to-day and monthly reporting to Airport operators, including contributions at Monthly & Quarterly Performance meetings, and Annual Strategy sessions.
- Productive relationships – Internal
- Work in conjunction with the Operations and Projects teams to ensure exemplary oversight of delivery, fault-reporting, monitoring of assets, and the creation and approval of new/amended advertising opportunities.
- Work with the other Partnership Managers across the UK business to ensure best practice for our clients.
- Updates on key initiatives to the team and ensuring regular dialogue with the projects team, operations, finance, sales and marketing to feed into communication with our clients.
- Report to the business on contract performance, KPIs and Capital Investment.
- Manage the Partnerships Manager (Airport), and contribute towards their continued training and development.
- Proactive Asset and Commercial Development
- Discovery and development of new advertising products and initiatives within our Airports to drive new revenue opportunities.
- Analysing sales performance and keeping the sales team aware of any challenges or opportunities.
- Collaborating – and occasionally leading – the JCDecaux Projects team in the development and delivery of projects within our Airports. These projects included site repairs, removals, or adaptation, or entirely new advertising installations.
- Coordinating / Leading site visits of Heathrow Airport for commercial, operational of asset development.
- Input into the product and portfolio marketing narrative, controlling approach and content.
- Working closely with the marketing team to introduce new initiatives and provide best in class marketing collateral.
- Regular UK travel to discuss new opportunities with both stakeholders and local sales teams.
- Market Expertise
- Liaising internal departments to ensure clear commercial understanding and company strategy to meet KPIs.
- Overseeing all duties required in the campaign approval process, maintaining project paperwork and reporting systems. Handling telephone enquiries, internal and external meetings, and inspection / site tours.

- Managing revenue forecasts and regular updates to our client on revenue performance, payments, initiatives and KPIs.
- Understands the complexities within managing the revenue forecast so trends can be monitored and communicate where required.
- Monthly reporting to these key partners to include, revenue, payments, initiatives and KPIs.
- To ensure quality standards and response times are met in all projects and where possible, these targets are exceeded and generate maximum revenue for our partners and JCDecaux.
- Account management
- Day to day management of the account – bringing together the relevant information and knowledge of each specific area both internally and with partners.
- Operational / Systems Expertise
- Solid analytical and task management experience.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Finance analysis acumen.
- Demonstrable relationship building expertise.
- Microsoft Office and Outlook are essential.
- OOH advertising experience – preferable.
