As the Digital technician you’ll join the Digital Operations Maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and visual quality of digital advertising assets across both large and small format sites. The Digital technician plays a vital role in prolonging asset life through scheduled preventative maintenance, fault resolution, and cleaning.
What you'll be doing...
- Maintenance & Fault Resolution
- Respond to callouts for digital asset faults, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance and assist with site quality checks
- Report damage promptly and accurately
- Ensure correct tools, equipment, and parts are taken to site and maintained in good order
- Operational Standards
- Maintain tools, PPE, and vehicle cleaning equipment to high standards
- Adhere to safe systems of work and health & safety guidelines
- Manage van stock and spare parts, following booking and stock procedures
- Complete daily worksheets, requisitions, and vehicle documentation accurately
- Coordinate vehicle servicing with the transport team
- Liaise with Operations Managers on site-related issues
- Support other duties as required by the line manager

- Ensure all operational practices comply with current regulations
- Stay informed on industry developments to support JCDecaux’s leadership in DOOH
- Reporting & Documentation
- Capture operational data, produce reports, and maintain accurate documentation
A little bit about you...
- Technical
- Previous troubleshooting experience, mechanical, electrical or both
- Previous basic electrical work experience
- Familiar with digital screens, IT systems, and Microsoft Office tools
- Competent with laptops, smartphones, and mobile devices
- Understanding of WAN/LAN networks, cellular connectivity, and ADSL routers
- Mechanical aptitude and readiness for Network Rail training (provided)
- IPAF & PASMA certification and MEWP experience (desirable but not essential)
- Operational Readiness
- Clean UK driving licence
- Comfortable with lifting duties and working at height
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Responsible for van stock, spare parts, and equipment upkeep

Bonus (based on individual & company): 8.33%
Working Pattern: Sunday-Thursday 10a.m-7p.m (with 1 hour break). Possibility for overtime on days off.
Location of Role: (expectation that you are within 20 mins drive of location if remote and within 60 mins if depot based)
Equipment provided: Company van to commute to work or alternatively a travel allowance if based at the depot, Mobile phone, PPE and all equipment to complete your work
Training provided: All job specific training and dependent on role external training like HGV, Forklift and electrical qualifications may be offered.
